Stuart is a formally trained professional luthier with over 15 years experience at the highest level of the trade. Stuart made a name for himself in the international lutherie community while working for world famous luthiers Bryan Galloup and then Tom Ribbecke. After spending 6 years as Ribbecke's shop foreman Stuart embarked on his own journey in 2013 establishing his shop in Pittsburgh. Known around the world for his custom high end instruments Stuart also offers full service repair and ground-up historic/period correct restoration of all stringed instruments. Come meet Stuart in his new Bessemer Pa Location. In addition to lutherie, Stuart also accepts some contracts for fine furniture, other woodworking or finish carpentry
