David's Music Plus They Don't Stand behind the sale “The point of being able to compete against the big boys like Guitar Center is to have better customer service, because you can't win most times on price.\n\nI am a former Oklahoma musician living in Mississippi that came back for a couple of gigs, and was staying in the Bethany area. Heard from the vocalist that the place we were playing had a bad mic cable, so I stopped in on the way and picked up an overpriced Ernie Ball rather than drive further and mess with the GC crowd.\n\nGot to the gig and the problem was found to be in the mixer, not the cable.\n\nTried to return it...unopened, with the factory zip ties still on, and they refused, offering instead a store credit. Yeah, store credit does me a lot of good when I live out of state and play the Doublebass, which David's had nothing of use for me. So now I have a mic cable unopened that I have no use for.\n\nAfter pleading my case with the red haired Dave Mustaine wanna be clerk, he could only offer we aren't Wal-Mart. Sad but true; Wal Mart actually has better customer service than these jokers.\n\nGood luck selling your bumper stickers and tchotchkes....I will make it my mission to tell every musician in OKC about my experience.\n\nYou are one music store I won't feel sorry for when you go out of business. Small business can survive, but not when customer service is less than that of the big box.\n\nHope keeping my $20 was worth the publicity.”
